Room Reservations

We have a number of lounges and meeting rooms available for student organization, staff, and faculty use at Crown College. Please review the room use policy documents below.

To reserve the Cultural Center at Merrill please email bushnell@ucsc.edu.

To reserve the Fireside Lounge or the Crown-Merrill Community Room please email bushnell@ucsc.edu.

To reserve the Crown Senior Commons please phone 831-459-2665.

Contact the Crown/Merrill Special Projects Coordinator Allen Bushnell for guidelines and approval.

Tabling in the Crown/Merrill Dining Hall
If you wish to table in the dining hall please contact the Crown Dining Manager Clint Jeffries.

The Fireside Lounge has the following amenities:
  • Television, DVD, Video and digital computer inputs, Surround sound system
  • Accommodates 20-30 people
  • Seating on couches and chairs
  • Several tables

The Crown Senior Commons has the following amenities:
  • Television and video
  • Accommodates 20-30 people
  • Informal meeting area
  • Formal meeting area with conference table for 18

The Crown-Merrill Community Room Lounge has the following amenities:
  • Television, VCR and DVD
  • Accommodates 40-45 people
  • Seating on couches and chairs
  • Several tables

The Cultural Center at Merrill has the following amenities:
  • Accommodates up to 400 people
  • 50 tables/over 300 chairs
  • Full Audio/Visual equipment
  • Complete theater lighting system
  • Fee-based reservation policy
