Come find out! Your official student government, the Student Union Assembly (SUA), is hosting a Candidate Forum and Elections Kick-Off Party on Tuesday, May 17 at 6pm in Oakes Learning Center.

DID YOU SAY NEW FEES? WHAT ARE THESE NEW MEASURES?

There are a bunch of new measures that we'll be voting on. They include almost $300/quarter (almost $900 a year for most people) in new fees. It's up to us to decide which fees we are willing to pay for, and which ones we aren't. These new fees range from supporting student initiated outreach and campus resource centers to building new sports/event facilities.

There are also some measures and opinion polls that aren't asking for any of our money, but just our permission or our opinion on a variety of subjects. Find out more about these at http://elections.ucsc.edu
