Not sure what to bring? Here are some ideas...

• YES! - buy ahead of time: extra long twin sheets (beds are 80" x 36"), mattress pad/plastic cover, blankets, pillows, bedspread
• YES! - bath necessities! Toothbrush, tooth paste, shampoo, hair dryer, soap, razor, feminine hygiene products, robe, shower shoes, and bath towels
• YES!- desk lamps, plants, posters (use poster tape)
• YES! - alarm clock (with backup battery in case of power outtages)
• YES! - emergency items: flashlight, surge protector, batteries, aspirin
• YES! - personal papers: ATM card, checkbook, Social Security card, copy of birth certificate, health insurance card, and driver's license
• YES! - lots and lots of quarters for laundry
• YES!- bicycle - don't forge the U-lock and helmet
• YES!- heavy raincoat, rain shoes, and a sturdy umbrella (it does hail)
  YES!- laundry supplies: soap, iron, hangers, laundry bag/basket, quarters. If you've never had to do your own laundry, you are encouraged to learn before you arrive (to alleviate maintenance needs)
• YES! - office supplies: stapler, scotch tape, ballpoint pens, pencils, paper, bulletin board, highlighters, backpack, envelopes, stamps, scissors
• YES! - coffee maker, hot pot, small fridge, microwave, blender, tupperware
• YES! - computer and printer, paper, ink cartridges
• YES!- head/ear phones (the walls are thin), stereo, discman, favorite CDs
• YES! - telephone (see under "Community Services" for more info)
• YES! - apartment residents only: toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dishes, utensils, toaster/toaster ovens, rice cooker, groceries

• NO! - any type of halogen lamp, candles, kerosene lamps, hot plates, etc.
• NO! - Res Halls only: toaster/toaster oven, rice cooker
• NO! - any non-UL listed appliances
• NO! - glow in the dark stars and paint (you can get charged minimum $150 per wall for use of glow paint)
• NO! - adhesive hooks, large nails, stickers
• NO! - octopus plugs
• NO! - skateboards, rollerblades/skates
• NO! - hot plates, barbeque grills
• NO! - excess furniture (you cannot remove our stock)
• NO! - animals/pets (fish in tanks 10 gallons or less are okay). Animal Control officers do patrol the vicinity and several left/loss felines and bunnies have been victims to mountain lion attacks so leave your treasured pets at home!.
