documents out-of-date. They are online just so you can get a feeling
for our housing selection process.

Move-in 2007
|
- Fall Quarter Move In
Move in is on Friday, September 21 for new students and Sunday,
September 23 for continuing students. However, there is no additional
charge to move in early for religious reasons. Students requesting
early move-in should notify the Crown Housing Office at
pandora@ucsc.edu by August 24,
2007.

culture of Crown, and additional move-in details.

Important for all current residents living in a Crown buiding to read
on how to properly check out this June.
- Housing Contract Extension Request Form
If you are unable to move out by noon on Friday, June 15th, you must
fill out this form and turn it in to your CRE by noon on Monday, June
4th. If you are participating in graduation ceremonies, moving into
Transitional Housing, or are part of the Crown Residential Staff, you
will also need to fill out this form and turn it in. Requests will be
reviewed by the CRE staff in the Crown Residential Education Office.

Lottery List
All guaranteed students who applied for housing during the April 16-23
filing period were randomly sorted. You must have your RSID #. This is
your Application # that was emailed to you upon confirmation that your
application was submitted.

Non-Guaranteed Wait List
All continuing students who have expired or forfeited the guarantee.
You must have your RSID # to find your Wait List #. Your RSID# is the
same as your Application # that was emailed to you upon confirmation
that your application was submitted.

Students Applying For 2007-08 Housing
Important! Next year, Crown will have almost no on-campus housing available for
continuing students without guaranteed housing. Seriously. Read this for
details.
- Room Selection Guide 2007
For continuing Crown students who are interested in living at Crown
for the 2007-2008 academic year. Booklets are available through the
Building RAs and in both the Crown Housing and Residential Education
Offices.

- Household Declaration Form 2007
If you are applying for the Crown/Merrill Apartment or Faculty Apt,
a household declaration form must be filed by Wednesday, May 16,
4:00pm, Crown Housing Office. One form needed per group.
- Classified Ad 2007
If you are seeking a roommate, fill out this form and submit it to
the Residential Education Office in The Red Book. Once you have
found your roommate, remove your ad. The Red Book is not to be
used for off-campus or other university sponsored housing
arrangements.
- Proxy Form 2007
If you cannot attend the mandatory Room Selection, you will need
to designate someone to attend and act on your behalf. This person
is called your Proxy and will need to bring this form along with a
picture ID to Room Selection.

- Spring 2006 Housing Extension
All residences close at noon on Friday, June 16th. If you wish to
stay past your last final, submit this form to the Crown Res Ed Office
by noon on Monday, June 5th.
- Student Employee Summer Housing Application
If you will be working at UCSC for a minimum of 15 hours per week and
wish to live on campus, please print and turn in this form to the
Crown College Housing Office (in Admin Bldg). The office is closed
between 12:00pm-1:00pm. Housing is avaialble on a first-come,
first-served basis.

Please read this before applying. This booklet explains the process
to apply for housing at Crown College for the 2006-2007 academic year.
This is only for continuing students. Incoming frosh and transfer
students will have a different application once you've been assigned
to Crown.

If you are interested in applying for housing at Crown and are
seeking roommates, print and turn in this ad to the Crown
Residential Education Office.
- Proxy Form 2006
If you will not be able to attend Room Selection, you must assign
someone to be present for you. Have tat person bring this signed
proxy form and their ID to Room Selection.
- Household Declaration Form 2006
Only one form per group. Multiple entries will void entire party.
This form is used to apply for apartment living.

Learn about applying for University Housing. You have to do this to live at Crown.

by NOON on Friday, June 10.
If you need to extend your stay for any reason, please fill out
the included Extension Request Form and turn it in to the Crown Residential
Office no later than 4:00pm, Monday, June 6th.

If you are having problems finding a roommate, fill out a classifed
ad and leave it at the Crown Housing Office.

For continuing students who are seeking off-campus housing, this is
a strongly recommended workshop to attend. Landlords will often ask
if you have taken this course.
