Welcome to Crown College! I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and completed my A.B. at Bryn Mawr College. After completing my M.S.Ed from the University of Pennsylvania, I lived and taught English in Hong Kong for a number of years. I most recently worked at Portland State University and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I am new to Santa Cruz and absolutely love going on food adventures. Most importantly, I truly love academic advising and I am very excited to meet you all.

Whether you started here as a first-year or came from another institution, we are so happy that you are with us at UCSC. Education is a tool for personal growth and enlightenment, and we are here to help you make the most out of your time here, whatever that means to you. If you ever feel like you are struggling to navigate the university, please know that we are here to support you and don’t hesitate to reach out. I would love to chat with you about university requirements, major exploration, career options, and ways to get involved on campus beyond coursework. When not in the office I enjoy PC/console/arcade games, trying to keep up to date on national politics, and cars.

I loved my university experience so much I decided I never wanted to leave! I want students to embrace every opportunity they have during their time as an undergraduate student; whether that’s attending campus events, participating in a student group, learning all they can in their classes, studying abroad, or even just enjoying the beauty of campus. My job as an advisor is to assist students in realizing these moments and resources. I want to equip students with the knowledge and excitement so they take charge of their education and future. When I’m not helping students you will likely find me loving on my houseplants, hanging out in downtown Campbell, or trying all the new Taco Bell menu items.
