This summer, join Professor Marilyn Patton for CRWN 80F – Science Fictions! Explore how science fiction imagines a variety of worlds and examines themes of identity and social relations through science and technology. Whether you’re a Crown student looking to reconnect with some of the material discussed in the core course or simply interested in exploring and creating science fiction, this is the class for you!Â

College Project Funding - Accepting Applications Now!
The colleges offer funding to support undergraduate student projects, including academic research, creative or artistic work, and public events that benefit a college or the broader UC Santa Cruz community. Both individual and collaborative projects are encouraged.
Open to all registered undergraduate students, awards may be full or partial, up to $500, and are based on merit and available resources. Please review the eligibility requirements before applying.Â
